Organizers of Guyana’s leading energy event recently announced the return of the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo for its third year, scheduled to take place from February 19 to 22, 2024, at the Marriott Hotel. Rebranded and expanded in scope, next year’s event promises to provide a space for health, information and communication technology, tourism, manufacturing, agriculture and the mining sectors.
Building on the success of the 2022 and 2023 events, organizers said via a statement on their LinkedIn Page that the 2024 conference is set to offer a larger platform for discussions and networking. The event also aims to facilitate B.U.I.L.D: Building connections, Updating on projects, Insights on developments, Linking companies, and Developing strategies.
Organizers said this year’s theme, “Fuelling Transformation and Modernisation,” reflects the conference’s broader focus, extending beyond the energy sector to encompass industries like health, information and communication technology, tourism, manufacturing, agriculture, and mining. The organizers also anticipate that this expansion will open new avenues for investment and strategic alliances.
The conference has historically been a hub for networking, where participants can engage with operators, international service companies, government agencies, and officials. With over 1,200 attendees, 60 speakers, 180 exhibitors, and 30 sponsors in 2023, the 2024 edition is expected to exceed these numbers.
