Dear Editor,

Jermaine Figuera’s open and speculative questioning of Aubrey Norton’s decision to replace him (Figuera) as Shadow Minister for Youth Culture and Sport is self-explanatory; it shows Figuera’s indiscipline, his lack of respect and regard for Norton.
The attempt by Figuera to deflect from these character flaws by pandering to the cheap galley seats with speculation that it was because he engaged in a handshake with the President reveals more about Figuera than Norton; a desperate and grasping character who lacks the discipline to accept his leader’s decision gracefully and without question. It can be no surprise that Norton deemed Figuera unfit for leadership in any capacity.

It would seem Aubrey Norton is taking proactive measures to avoid the fate of Julius Caesar; I believe we can expect more ‘weeding-out’ of threats to his PNC laurel crown soon, no doubt he is taking Julius Caesar’s advice “It is not these well-fed long-haired men that I fear, but the pale and the hungry-looking”.

Sincerely
Robin Singh
