Sol Group (Sol), the Caribbean’s leading provider of energy solutions, recently announced that it has signed an agreement with ExxonMobil to become the official licensee for the Mobil™ brand in its network of service stations across Guyana, effective October 1, 2024. This strategic partnership will see Sol’s 11 service stations in Guyana gradually rebranding to the Mobil™ brand, offering customers access to high-quality Mobil™ fuels.
As part of this operation, drivers in Guyana will, for the first time, be able to purchase Mobil™ Synergy Fuel Technology fuels, including Mobil Synergy Extra™ and Mobil Synergy Supreme+™, through Sol’s retail network. While Mobil™ lubricants are already available in Guyana via Sol’s distributorship, this move marks the introduction of these advanced Mobil™ fuels, renowned for their ability to clean and maintain inlet valves and injectors, enhance engine performance, and improve gas mileage.
Mark Goede, Vice President of Commercial Business Lines and South America Operations for The Sol Group, described the partnership with ExxonMobil as a strategic decision aimed at offering premium fuels through an innovative and modern service station network in Guyana. “ExxonMobil is a globally recognized company known for its advanced technology, innovation, and product quality. There is great anticipation and excitement surrounding our new Mobil™ branded fuels,” Goede stated, highlighting the superior cleaning power of Mobil Synergy Supreme+™ compared to Mobil Synergy Extra™.
