The Chairman of the governing Board of the Guyana National Broadcasting Authority (GNBA), Mr. Leslie Sobers today issued a letter of approval for the Linden Broadcasting Network to be the recipient of a television broadcasting license in the Secondary Zone, having satisfied all the necessary requirements of the GNBA.
This approval letter was received by Chairman of the Linden Broadcasting Network Rennis Morian. Also present at the ceremony was Legal Advisor and Assistant to the Minister of State, Geeta Chandan-Edmond. Linden Parliamentarian, Jermine Figueira, was also there.
The Authority extended congratulations to the Linden Broadcasting Network and expressed optimism that this broadcasting entity will assist in the further development of broadcasting in Guyana, particularly in the mining town of Linden.
