An argument between two friends has left one with a damaged car window screen and the other remanded to prison.
Regan Williams denied the charge which alleged that, on April 19, 2019 at East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, he damaged the $50,000 192 motorcar window screen of his friend, Rizal Mohammed.
Williams appeared before Principal Magistrate Faith McGusty in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The court heard that the two have been friends for over three years. On the day in question, Williams visited his friend’s home and the two got into a heated argument.
Shortly after, the victim told Williams to leave his yard and Williams, in turn, became annoyed. Williams reportedly armed himself with a piece of wood and broke the victim’s car window screen.
The prosecutor objected to bail being granted to Williams. Hence, he was remanded to prison until April 26, 2019.
